Rukaiya is PwC Nigeria’s lead on Sustainability & Climate Change services and Public Sector Risk Assurance Services. She holds an MPA Public Policy & Management from the prestigious London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and the Hertie School of Governance Berlin. Rukaiya has a B.Sc in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. She is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of industry and consulting experience. 

 

As the first female from Northern Nigeria to gain admission into any Big Four Partnership in Nigeria, Rukaiya is interested in advancing the diversity and inclusion aspects of the social side of sustainability as she strives to contribute to this through inspirational leadership. She has advised a broad range of public and private sector clients on issues across the sustainability value chain in Nigeria, as well as supporting transformational agendas and efforts towards the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her work in this area includes but is not limited to the development of holistic and stakeholder-centric strategies and roadmaps for sustainable development.
